Payment Due Dates:

  • 50% Deposit = AUD$ 2,600 (US$ 2,500) - before  5 AUGUST 2011 - to secure hotel bookings, as it is HIGH season in Patagonia and there are few hotels, which are booked out many months in advance.
  • 50% Balance – before 15 SEPTEMBER 2011 - amount to be advised according to number of people
  • USD $ 100 discount – for Early bird full payment – before 15 July 2011

Cancellations:

  • Full refund (minus a USD$100 processing fee) – if cancellation prior to 15 September.
  • 50% refund for cancellation between 15 September to 1 October.
  • No refunds after 1 October. It is high season.

Participants are advised to purchase Travel Insurance, to offset any cancellation costs.

HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS

We urge those with a history of heart problems or any other health condition that may be exacerbated by altitude, different food or water, or long hours of trekking – to consult your physician before participating in this trip.

All participants are advised to:

  • Take out a Comprehensive Travel Insurance (that includes air-lifting in remote areas in case of accident and cancellation prior to journey);

     

     

  • Bring your own Medicine Kit; and prescribed medicines for the whole duration of journey.

     

     

  • Carry ‘Altitude Sickness’ medicine (‘Sorochil’ or equivalent) – and start taking it 2 days prior to travel.
